About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Fitter to join our team in a preventative and reactive maintenance role, supporting our Oil & Gas Workover and Drilling operations. The successful candidate will work on an equal time 2 weeks on: 2 weeks off roster, providing maintenance to our rigs and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel equipment and machinery
  2. Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues
  3. Collaborate with operations and field staff to ensure seamless operation of our rig fleet
  4. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
Requirements
  1. Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or equivalent
  2. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  3. Previous experience in the Oil and Gas or Minerals sector is advantageous
  4. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  5. Open Manual Driver's Licence or higher
