About the Role:

As a catering assistant, you will use your excellent culinary skills to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will provide a personal and empathetic approach to ensure their needs are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Provide nutritious meals and snacks to our residents
  • Ensure dining areas are clean and tidy, including dishwashing duties
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Support the broader team as required with flexibility and adaptability

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Certification in Hospitality (Cert III) highly regarded but not essential
  • Aged care experience an advantage, but we offer training for the right candidate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
  • An understanding of resident rights, aged care accreditation standards, and outcomes
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts throughout the week
