Job Title: HGV Driver

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driver to transport goods efficiently and safely across various routes. As a vital member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for operating multi-combination trucks while adhering to traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate HGVs safely and efficiently
  • Transport goods to various locations while maintaining accurate logs of hours worked and distance travelled
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Maintain compliance with the Australian National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) standards
  • Ensure professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company
Requirements:
  • A valid Multi Combination (MC) driver's license
  • Induction into the Break Fatigue Management (BFM) System
  • Previous experience driving HGVs in a professional capacity
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work away from home for interstate runs
