We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Modeller to join our team at Calleo. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining mathematical models to project workforce demand and supply.
You will apply your in-depth knowledge of forecasting, statistics, machine learning algorithms, and quantitative techniques to produce actionable policy insights that drive business outcomes.
Working collaboratively with our cross-functional team, you will utilize complex analytic techniques and experimental methods to develop technological solutions that meet our business needs.
You will undertake complex data analysis, interpretation, and investigation of large data sets to inform our business decisions.
As a key communicator, you will present data and complex numerical information in a clear and concise manner to senior and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain mathematical models to project workforce demand and supply
- Apply forecasting, statistics, machine learning algorithms, and quantitative techniques to produce actionable policy insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technological solutions
- Undertake complex data analysis, interpretation, and investigation of large data sets
- Present data and complex numerical information to senior and non-technical audiences
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or data scientist
- Deep expertise in algorithms and statistical methods
- Demonstrated skills in applying computational problem-solving approaches
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with analytics programming languages and tools, in particular R
- Strong data wrangling, visualisation, and analysis skills
- Professional commitment and skills of maintaining code quality
This role is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates who currently hold or are able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances are highly desirable.
