Job Opportunity: Horticulture Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced horticulture professional to join our team in growing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursery management, leadership, and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with nursery tasks to ensure target times are achieved.
  • Liaise with senior growers and the nursery regarding crop planning for the following week.
  • Ensure all equipment required for nursery operations is organized and that team members are trained.
  • Assist growers and senior growers with managing the nursery's growing environment using climate control software.
  • Respond to nursery alarms and participate in on-call rosters.

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Strong numeracy and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar environment.
  • First Aid Certificate and Forklift License highly desirable.
