Senior Web Developer

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced web developer to work on both Shopify and React projects, combining technical expertise with commercial acumen.

In this role, you will take ownership of full-cycle Shopify builds, including scoping, development, and delivery. You will also contribute frontend expertise to sophisticated React-based applications as part of cross-functional teams.

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for leading client conversations, collaborating across design and engineering teams, and delivering pixel-perfect results. You will have a strong understanding of technical SEO and optimisation strategies, and be able to align technical recommendations with business goals.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-quality delivery environment, and be expected to juggle timelines, communicate clearly, and produce work that meets the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of advanced Shopify development experience, including end-to-end project ownership from client consultation through to delivery. They will also have advanced React development capabilities, collaborating on large-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle Shopify builds, including scoping, development, and delivery
  • Contribute frontend expertise to sophisticated React-based applications
  • Implement custom themes, app integrations, and site optimisation
  • Manage timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations
  • Deliver pixel-perfect builds that perform and convert
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced Shopify development experience, including end-to-end project ownership
  • Advanced React development capabilities, collaborating on large-scale applications
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO and optimisation strategies
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to pixel-perfect frontend execution
  • Commercial mindset – able to align technical recommendations with business goals
