Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide essential support and care for older Australians living in Townsville. This role involves assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Assisting with meal preparation and consumption;
  • Supporting clients with mobility issues, including transferring, lifting, and positioning;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control practices and reporting any concerns or incidents;
  • Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and services.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification;
  • Previous experience working in aged care or a related field;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role.
