Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager of Supply Chain to lead our Supply Chain activities in Asia Pacific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing corporate supply chain processes, procedures, plans, and initiatives to support the requirements of our global business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor Supply Chain activities for assigned offices in Asia Pacific.
  • Maintain communications with organization and client personnel to ensure that the services of the Supply Chain team meet the needs of the global business unit and its clients.
  • Provide direction in developing project Supply Chain strategies based on applicable laws, Bechtel's licenses, customer requirements, and overall project execution strategy.
  • Use the supply chain strategy to prepare and implement project execution plans.
  • Participate in business development efforts, feasibility studies, project planning, and provide support in client contract negotiations to give supply chain input.
  • Review staffing plans and personnel actions to ensure consistency with global business unit practices and needs.
  • Assist with in-depth Supply Chain audits of project activities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or Cost Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency and experience in project procurement operations at both jobsites and office locations.
  • Knowledge of personnel procedures and policy, supervision, cost control, and quality control functions.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with expediting, purchasing, supplier quality, traffic and logistics, and field procurement operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration, and negotiation of change orders.
  • Proven leadership ability and direct experience in managing workload distribution and execution of work.
  • Technical and administrative knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices, government and commercial procurement regulations, and Bechtel policies.
