Customer Care Officer Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and make a positive impact on the lives of animals.

Job Description:

The Customer Care Officer is the first point of contact for all animal matters, receiving incoming calls and responding to queries on a range of topics, including cruelty complaints, donations, adoption enquiries, lost and found, and external agencies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and responding to incoming calls and emails
  • Providing assistance and guidance to members of the public surrendering animals and those adopting animals
  • Maintaining and updating records to support business outcomes
  • Managing multiple tasks and data entry platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of skill in Microsoft Office suite and data entry
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-location team environment
  • Good judgement, discretion, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task, manage competing demands, and prioritize efficiently
