Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our Critical Supports Services Team in Coomera. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and innovative strategies to help our customers with complex needs overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with personal care, household duties, cooking, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and build meaningful, caring relationships with customers.
- Work collaboratively with the Critical Supports Team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Disability Support Worker who:
- Has a strong background in complex support environments, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access.
- Is experienced in manual handling and providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- Has effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Is flexible and able to work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A current Open Driver's License.
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Disability Sector, providing services to individuals with high-complex needs.
