**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Transition Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and staff to create a smooth transition from primary school to secondary school.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a successful transition program to support incoming students settle in the college environment.
  • Organize and coordinate the Year 7 Orientation Day, Camp, and Information Nights.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure a seamless transition from Year 7 into Year 8 and Year 8 into Year 9.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practices, understanding how students learn best and having knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks.
  • Be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
