About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team in the pharmaceutical industry. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support your team to ensure all jobs are completed effectively and in a safe manner.
  • Attend to any call outs and assist in breakdowns to ensure the plant is operational throughout production on a daily basis.
  • Plan preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and fault find.
  • Perform HVAC maintenance, including inspecting, cleaning, testing, and repairing.
  • Look after tablet, capsule, and blister packaging machines.
  • Complete required paperwork.
  • Conduct general site maintenance.
Requirements
  • Australian residency.
  • Solid experience working as a mechanical/maintenance fitter.
  • A background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in complementary medicines.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience working in a GMP/TGA environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong commitment to work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
