Mobile Maintenance Improvement Specialist

Salary PackageThe salary package for this role includes an attractive base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. This includes flexible working options, a generous paid parental leave policy, and other extended leave entitlements.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Improvement Specialist to join our team at Newman Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing additional focus to fleet asset health to improve delivery of fleet performance in line with the maintenance strategy and operating principles.
- Drive business improvement through measurement of performance metrics.
- Engage/Work with Mine Control to ensure data integrity within Minestar and Modular.
- Maintain effective relationships with planning teams and assist with forward log based on condition data for mobile equipment.
- Carry out post-execution quality inspections to eliminate defects and facilitate reliable and efficient maintenance operations.
- Determine underlying causes of problems and evaluate multiple solutions to ensure planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification with post-trade experience on mobile equipment maintenance.
- Technical knowledge of mobile equipment and demonstrated experience in condition-based mobile maintenance practices and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in 1SAP, Web SIS, Cat Minestar, Vims 3G.
- A sound understanding of oil analysis.
- Highly developed attention to detail with ability to analyze condition monitoring information and provide accurate reported recommendations.
