Full Time Motel Operations Manager Role

This is a full time position that requires the management of day-to-day motel operations, including front desk procedures, housekeeping and guest relations.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to manage staff effectively and ensure the smooth running of the motel.

  • Manage daily operations of the motel, including check-in/check-out procedure, housekeeping and guest relations

  • Oversee front desk operations, including reservations, payments and customer service

  • Supervise and train staff in housekeeping, maintenance and administrative tasks as needed

  • Monitor occupancy, revenues and expenses, and prepare reports as required

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and legal requirements

  • Coordinate with booking platforms and manage online reviews

About You

  • You will have previous experience in a similar role or hospitality industry, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to guest service and the ability to handle conflicts professionally.

  • You will have the ability to manage budgets, operational tasks and staff rosters, with handy general maintenance and problem-solving skills.

  • You will be proficient in using booking/reservation systems and have Australian work rights and a current driver's license.

What We Are Looking For

  • A dynamic and hands-on couple with relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management and experience in a similar role.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage a small team and delegate tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in using booking systems, online travel agents and general admin, with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Flexible and available to work weekends, public holidays and after hours as needed.
