Job Title: Asset Planning Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Planning Lead to join our Infrastructure Services team. This is a key leadership role that requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and manage asset information and frameworks across all asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Strategic Frameworks: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic asset management frameworks that align with financial planning and legislative requirements.
  • Maturity of Asset Management Practices: The lead will drive the maturity of asset management practices and frameworks across the organization, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Alignment with Lifecycle Requirements: The Asset Planning Lead will ensure that asset lifecycles are aligned with strategic, legislative, and audit requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Long-term Asset Management Programs: The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing long-term asset management programs that align with financial planning, identifying and managing external funding opportunities and grants.
  • Data Analysis and Valuation: The Asset Planning Lead will provide leadership in data analysis, condition assessment, and asset valuation, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to inform decision-making.

To be successful in this role, you will require formal qualifications in asset management, business administration, engineering, or substantial relevant experience. You will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. Local Government experience at a senior level is highly desirable.
