The Shire of Ashburton is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager Asset Planning to join our Infrastructure Services Directorate. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage asset information and strategic frameworks across all asset classes.

  • Lead the maturity of asset management practices and frameworks.

  • Align asset lifecycles with strategic, legislative, and audit requirements.

  • Implement long-term asset management programs aligned with financial planning.

  • Identify and manage external funding opportunities and grants.

  • Provide leadership in data analysis, condition assessment, and asset valuation.

About You:

You will have formal qualifications in asset management, business administration, engineering, or substantial relevant experience. You will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. Local Government experience at a senior level is highly desirable.
