Occupational Therapist Role Overview

IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury. Our care is tailored to each and every individual.

We work with our clients to identify their goals and provide psychological or physical supports to help them live life to its fullest potential. Our team of highly skilled allied health professionals include Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellors.

Key aspects of this role:

  1. Assessing individuals' Personal, Domestic, and Community Activities of Daily Living
  2. Identifying recommendations for services, support, and/or assistive equipment
  3. Completing equipment trails in person with clients to ensure safety and appropriateness

As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to develop your career through hands-on learning and development. You'll find new graduates from yesterday are the leaders of today.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA accreditation
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills - getting to know clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy
  • Well-developed time management skills are a must & plus
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must
