About the Role

As an Export Category Manager with Fresh Produce Group, you will be based in our head office in Sydney Markets and your priority focus will be on exported fruit categories. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating Customer Accounts and Programs
  • Managing the Grower/Producer Supply Base
  • Negotiating and Purchasing Product
  • Maintaining Knowledge of Stock Volumes, Pricing, Quality, and International Regulations
  • Engaging with the Supply Chain
  • Ensuring Service Levels Meet Customer Expectations
  • Contributing to Category and Account Plans
About You

We are looking for an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The following skills are essential for success in this position:

  • 3 to 5+ years' experience working in a similar role or industry
  • Ability to demonstrate clear, succinct, relevant, and timely communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Business acumen, particularly relating to profitability, stock control, and sales forecasting
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the business
  • Excellent computer skills (Intermediate with office programs)
  • Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Marketing (highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of export produce (highly desirable)
  • Fresh produce or FMCG sales with account management experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience working with large supermarket chains (highly desirable)
