Job Title

Lead Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal

We are inviting applications for a Lead Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual to lead our nursing team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the nursing team, provide high-quality patient care, and support the clinical team with day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee nursing duties, maintain patient care standards, and ensure that the practice runs smoothly.

Our dedicated team includes six vets, five RVNs, three SVNs, and two ACAs, supported by a fantastic reception team. We encourage specialisation and supporting clinical progression at all levels.

Working Hours

This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the option of a 4- or 5-day working week. In addition you will participate in a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota.

  • Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Nurse with excellent clinical skills
  • Previous leadership experience is preferable
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and enhancing client relationships
  • Experience mentoring SVNs is desirable
