Senior Operations Analyst

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Analyst to support the Operations Manager with the smooth running of the operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial instruments, particularly equities, futures, and equity derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliation of position and trade activity
  • Production of nightly profit and loss estimate and reconciliation to front office
  • Handling corporate actions and covering economic implications of flows
  • Liaising with external parties to resolve position/cash discrepancies
  • Contributing to system improvement to streamline daily processes
  • Running new initiatives and projects
  • Working directly with traders to facilitate new trade flow and relationships
Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience working in the financial markets arena
  • In-depth knowledge of handling trade flow through to settlement
  • Thorough knowledge of equity and equity derivative products
  • Operational knowledge of Asian Financial markets
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and Excel
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and external parties
  • Ability to promote new ideas and solutions
  • Confidence to escalate issues and drive changes
