Job Description:

The role involves assembling and installing rigging gear, examining objects to be moved, and choosing or making slinging equipment.

  • Examine the size, shape, and weight of objects to be moved and decide on the type of rigging required.
  • Choose or make slinging equipment and attach it to the load.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair rigging equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret lift plans/procedures to guarantee accurate execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Construction White/Blue Card and License to Perform High Risk Work / Advanced Rigging Ticket are essential qualifications.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
  • Full Working Rights in Australia required.
