Senior Leadership Team Opportunity

We are seeking a Head of Risk and Compliance to join our Senior Leadership Team. This role is responsible for leading Pioneer's risk management, compliance, and business continuity frameworks to achieve strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development and achievement of Pioneer's strategy and business plans, ensuring effective consideration of risk and compliance.
  2. Develop and execute risk and compliance business plans aligned to overall strategy.
  3. Execute upon and further mature Pioneer's risk management and corporate governance framework.
  4. Develop and manage the compliance framework to ensure legal and regulatory adherence.
  5. Support the organization's risk appetite and risk culture framework.
  6. Maintain risk management systems for accurate and timely reporting and decision-making.
  7. Effective communication of risk and compliance matters, including timely and accurate reporting and/or escalation in accordance with relevant protocols.
  8. Oversee quality and assurance activities, including policy and procedure development and maintenance.
  9. Lead the Risk and Compliance team, including setting goals, expectations, and providing performance guidelines.
Requirements
  • Commercial experience in a similar role or a minimum of 10 years' experience in progressively senior risk roles.
  • Financial and non-financial risk acumen, together with broad business experience across operational processes.
  • Understanding of Financial Services regulatory environment and key legislation impacting business activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing and presenting risk reports to an executive and/or Board.
  • Experience with Protecht software (or other risk systems) advantageous.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
