Warehouse Engineer Role Overview

Job Responsibilities
  • Improve processes across warehouse business operations by identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes that drive both profit improvements and efficiencies.
  • Work with sites to optimize their processes using lean methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Deliver project improvements by identifying opportunities, redesigning processes, and driving efficiency through process change.
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct kaizen activities through training, coaching, and data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain business process excellence tools such as 5S and scheduling tools, performance boards, productivity reports, and utilization reports.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualified industrial engineer or related professional with solid experience in a related role in any industry, preferably in logistics or supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilizing process improvement tools, kaizen, lean, etc.
  • Clear communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Strong MS Excel skills including use of vlookups, pivot tables (bonus: vba, macros).
  • Bonus: AutoCAD or similar.
