As a key player in shaping the future of our digital landscape, we seek an experienced Senior Workplace Technologies Specialist to join our dynamic team.
About the Position:
- Design and support user-friendly digital workplace services that foster collaboration and productivity among staff and students, both on campus and remotely.
- Manage and optimize key technologies, including Microsoft 365, audio/visual systems, and endpoint tools, to enhance learning, teaching, and operations across the university.
- Lead and contribute to projects that introduce and integrate new technologies, collaborating with vendors and partners to drive innovation and improve service delivery.
- Act as a trusted technical expert, continuously seeking ways to enhance digital experiences, support a culture of continuous improvement, and promote a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop effective digital solutions to meet the needs of staff and students.
- Manage and maintain existing technology infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, compliant, and seamless.
- Lead project teams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to colleagues, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong background in digital workplace technologies, particularly Microsoft 365, AV systems, endpoint tools, and productivity apps.
- Creative and curious mindset, with a knack for solving complex problems and designing people-focused tech solutions.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
- Collaborative approach, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and seamless M365 services.
- Sharp eye for new tools and tech that enhance what Microsoft 365 can do.
