Community Liaison Role

Glenala State High School seeks a proactive and empathetic individual to play a key role in building relationships between the school, families, and community-based services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to engage parents and carers in school activities and programs, facilitating communication between the school and its community, promoting liaison activities to provide information to parents and the community, and acting as a contact point for parents and the indigenous community.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective engagement strategies for parents and carers
  • Facilitate communication between the school and community stakeholders
  • Promote liaison activities to enhance parent and community participation
  • Provide support and guidance to parents and community members

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who can build trust and rapport with students, parents, and community members. The Community Liaison Officer will work closely with the Student Support Team to develop and implement strategies that support student engagement and wellbeing.
