Pastoral Care Volunteer

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, mental health for older people, and other health and aged services.

We are seeking a pastoral care volunteer to support the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly clients living in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support people to meet their spiritual needs

Skills Required:

  • High level of interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills.
  • Pastoral Care training, such as Chaplaincy, Clinical Pastoral Education, or attendance at HammondCare pastoral care training—Spiritual Care Series.
