Medical Receptionist and Customer Service Coordinator

A Medical Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management staff.
- Manage incoming calls and direct callers to the appropriate member of staff.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate client records.
- Perform general office duties including mail distribution, typing, scanning, filing, and archiving.
- Assist with closing and securing the building at the end of the day.
Responsibilities are varied and may include:
- Communicating effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to duty of care principles.
- Providing excellent customer service and support.
- Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification.
- Excellent administration, time management, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the health sector and ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven record of working effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Well-developed customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality.
