Key Responsibilities- Monitor progress for adherence to programs and ensure that electrical engineering activities are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
- Interpret and improve designs for implementation in the construction of electrical systems and equipment.
- Oversee the installation of new electrical equipment and systems with precision and expertise.
- Manage cost-effective, compliant services construction from design to commissioning.
- Manage schedules, resolve issues, and deliver monthly reports.
- Prepare and review electrical designs, including schematics, diagrams, and layouts.
- Promote safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventative measures to mitigate hazards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients.
- Provide general technical assistance to supervisory personnel.
- Resolve RFIs and Non-Conformances and manage stakeholder's deliverables to closure.
- Oversee the entire commissioning process, including planning, execution, and final handover of all electrical and communications assets.
- Ensure all systems and equipment are tested, calibrated, and operational according to project specifications.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Services Coordinator/Engineer in the Australian building services sector.
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
