Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and regulatory analysis, with a strong understanding of the energy industry.

The successful applicant will be responsible for consulting with internal and external stakeholders to influence process design, reporting, and support to written regulatory submissions and market consultation. They will also ensure internal operational processes are aligned and executed in accordance with market rules and daily/weekly/monthly production cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to influence process design and ultimately the delivery of operational tools
  • Reporting and support to AEMO written regulatory submissions and market consultation
  • Ensuring internal operational processes are aligned and executed in accordance with market rules and daily/weekly/monthly production cycles

Requirements:

  • Mandatory minimum degree qualification in relevant discipline (economics, commerce, finance or information systems)
  • Strong related work experience in the Energy industry with consideration given to relevant (Commercial/Regulatory/Legal) experience in related industries such as utilities
  • Strong written interpretation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to draw and articulate conclusions from a range of data and rule inputs
