We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Banking Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with businesses across Australia, providing tailored payment and transaction banking solutions that meet their unique needs.

As a Business Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for driving growth across our business customer base by identifying and addressing the transaction banking and merchant needs of our clients. You will work collaboratively with our branch network and small business bankers to engage directly with new and existing customers, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a highly sales-driven role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping businesses succeed. You will be a trusted advisor and solutions expert, working closely with our clients to understand their challenges and opportunities, and providing innovative solutions to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and address the transaction banking and merchant needs of our business customers
  • Work collaboratively with our branch network and small business bankers to engage directly with new and existing customers
  • Build strong relationships with our clients through exceptional customer service and support
  • Provide tailored payment and transaction banking solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients
  • Drive growth across our business customer base by identifying and addressing key business opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in a customer-centric company or role
  • Preferred experience in transaction banking & payments sales
  • Understanding of the needs and opportunities for our small to medium business customers, including challenges, trends, and the competitive and regulatory environment
  • Experience as a Customer Care Consumer Banker or Retail/Personal Banking
