Talent Focus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surgical Nursing Unit Manager to lead our General Medical Surgical Unit in Melbourne. Job Summary:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, who has proven experience in a leadership or management role within a surgical or medical unit. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, a passion for mentoring and developing nursing teams, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
About You:
- You have a strong understanding of hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- You possess excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee the day-to-day management of a General Medical Surgical unit.
- You are passionate about fostering a positive team environment, encouraging professional development and continuous improvement.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
