Overview:

PowerData Group Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Enterprise Service Management group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Systems Analyst with a minimum of 5 years' experience in undertaking similar roles within Commonwealth agencies or Government Departments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Service Management Tool uplift and possess strong business improvement and transformational project skills.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and formulate requirements through end-user workshops.

• Requirements Documentation: Document business requirements in the form of epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaboration: Work closely with ITSM SMEs and leadership to define business process requirements.

• Analysis and Documentation: Analyze and document as-is states, map to-be states, and respective data flows.

• User Testing: Contribute to user testing by reviewing UAT artefacts and providing consultancy on requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Vendor Collaboration: Work with application vendor representatives for problem resolution.

• Project Deployment: Collaborate with the project management team regarding system deployment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in undertaking similar roles within Commonwealth agencies or Government Departments.

• Experience with Service Management Tool uplift.

• Strong business improvement and transformational project skills.

• Expert user of Visio and JIRA.

• Good understanding of BPM tools (BPMN and UML).

• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing.

• Exceptional facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

• Effective influencing, communication, and negotiation skills.

• ITIL Certification.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
