As a Therapeutic Home-Based Carer, you will be responsible for embracing the strengths and needs of each child, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support. You will also participate in essential training programs to enhance your skills and meet the care needs of children with high and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embracing and Supporting Children and Young People: Accept and support the strengths and needs of children and young people, ensuring they receive the clinical and therapeutic support they require.
- Caring Capability: Consistently meet the care needs of children with high and complex needs, participating in essential training programs to enhance your skills.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in Care Team Meetings, working under the supervision of a Therapeutic Specialist to implement therapeutic strategies.
- Higher Communication Standards: Engage in frequent and transparent communication with the care team, providing regular updates and receiving guidance.
- Home Support: Welcome increased support and guidance within your home to facilitate therapeutic care planning.
- Reflective Learning: Participate in ongoing accredited training and reflective practice to continually develop your skills and understanding.
