About the Role
This is a senior leadership position within our business services and tax team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to deliver tailored tax solutions, collaborate with senior leaders to drive tax advisory across multiple areas, and contribute to the development of internal technical training.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to provide value-added tax advice and guidance.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and deliver tax advisory services across multiple areas, including corporate tax, individual tax, and transfer pricing.
- Review tax compliance and ensure that all tax obligations are met in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Support the development of internal technical training and updates, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality tax services.
- Contribute to the growth and success of our business by identifying opportunities for expansion and developing strategies to achieve this goal.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Holds a relevant Accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in tax or business services within an Australian public practice environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion).
