Gowrie Victoria is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at our Carlton North childcare centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the centre, ensuring that all operations are carried out effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of quality and responsiveness to children, families, and educators.
The Assistant Manager will work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that support the centre's mission and values.
The position is part-time, Monday to Thursday, 30.4 hours per week.
Key Selection Criteria- Previous experience in Leadership/Management in an ECEC setting with the ability to motivate, influence, mentor, and coach individuals and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators, community, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Previous experience in managing Compliance and Operations in an ECEC setting.
- Previous experience in service development (e.g., QIP) in an ECEC setting.
- In-depth working knowledge of the NQF and the NQS.
