Care and Education Associate

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a Care and Education Associate. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and abilities of individuals served.
  2. Provide one-on-one support and supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals served.
  3. Collaborate with the Life Planning Team to identify goals and objectives for each individual.
  4. Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in areas such as behavioral management and advocacy.
  5. Maintain accurate records of progress and submit regular reports to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience working in education or social services is beneficial.
  • Able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and physically able to evacuate individuals in emergency situations.
