Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the project administration team, you will provide high-level support across diverse ICT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive project coordination and administrative support, ensuring accurate documentation and progress reports using eDRMS, SharePoint, and Enterprise Project Online.
  • Monitor project budgets by preparing financial reports, managing purchase orders, and processing goods receipting through SAP systems.
  • Apply analytical skills to research solutions, document workflows clearly, and achieve effective outcomes within set timeframes.
  • Draft project reports, spreadsheets, planning documents, and correspondence to support informed decision-making.
  • Organise meetings, workshops, and forums with stakeholders while taking detailed minutes.
  • Deliver high-quality secretariat services to project boards by preparing agendas, recording minutes accurately, and tracking actions.
  • Foster productive relationships with stakeholders by communicating effectively and supporting collaborative project outcomes.
  • Support team members in achieving shared objectives by promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage project email inboxes efficiently to ensure timely dissemination of information.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Senior Project Officer supporting ICT-enabled projects in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as eDRMS, SharePoint, Enterprise Project Online, and financial systems like SAP.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for report preparation, correspondence, and stakeholder interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within high-performing teams under tight deadlines.
  • Experience organising meetings, workshops, or forums with minute-taking responsibilities.
  • Experience working with Prince2 or Agile methodologies.
  • Prior exposure to ICT infrastructure disciplines or government sector projects.
  • Capability in prioritising tasks efficiently while maintaining client service standards.
Additional Information:

This role requires a minimum of 3 days on-site attendance. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
