Job Role Overview

Coupled Pickled Cold Mill Asset Maintenance Position

Seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to perform maintenance duties on our Coupled Pickled Cold Mill (CPCM) processing line.

The CPCM is an advanced, highly automated steel-making process involving the strip thickness reduction in preparation for downstream coating processes.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Isolating equipment for scheduled shutdowns
  • Inspecting and maintaining quality control critical equipment
  • Performing daily mechanical maintenance tasks within the CPCM during operational hours
  • Providing out-of-hours support as required

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Mechanical Fitting/Machining
  • Experience working in heavy industry environments
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems
  • An enthusiasm for continuous learning and self-development
