We offer a 36-month training program that provides diverse rotations to meet the CORE training requirements of the RACP PREP Advanced Training curriculum in General and Acute Care Medicine. This collaborative effort enables you to develop your skills in various clinical settings.
This training opportunity allows for flexible roster structures, accommodating different needs. Our program delivers a balanced mix of learning experiences, equipping you with the expertise needed to excel in your consultant career and fulfill RACP AT requirements.
As a trainee, you can expect a variety of rotations in accredited roles across our collaborative network, providing access to a range of clinical experiences. Additionally, our program includes opportunities for regional training, matched with popular metro rotations.
To be eligible for this program, applicants must have commenced training in our collaborative and express their interest before applying. Current trainees can expect an outcome from their expression of interest within a specified timeframe. New trainees can apply once they have met the eligibility criteria to commence APT by February 2026. Interviews will be undertaken for applicants who prioritize GACM APT as their first priority in 2026.
