Role Overview

Our organisation is committed to achieving a sustainable future, and we are seeking a skilled Sustainability Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the development of strategies that drive business value while minimising environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyse business operations data to identify opportunities for improvement in water use, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sustainability goals, including Net Zero and water targets, and provide advice on commercial technologies and process improvements.
  3. Review and advise on carbon data, carbon accounting methods, and carbon markets, leveraging experience in agriculture and industrial emissions.
  4. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and corporate teams to understand and document data methods, identify gaps, propose solutions to key sustainability challenges, and focus on actions that drive progress.
  5. Manage customised systems to manage sustainability data, including implementing changes as required.
  6. Oversee sustainability/ESG reporting and analysis, including managing routine sustainability reporting processes with a focus on data integrity.
  7. Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver results.

Requirements:

  1. A relevant degree and qualified professional status.
  2. Strong attention to detail and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Demonstrated report writing and analytical skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly.
  4. Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
  5. Moderate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and moderate knowledge of reporting platforms.
