Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled trade professional to fill the role of Maintenance Fitter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of our production site. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your current skillset and advance your career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain all equipment as required.
  • Implement isolations as necessary to conduct maintenance and repairs.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
  • Make adjustments to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Participate in daily job rotations.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspections, testing, equipment exchange and overhaul.
  • Repair plant and ancillary equipment to meet quality standards.
  • Record all machine anomalies and report items that affect machinery performance to the engineering department.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team where required.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a trade qualification in Maintenance Fitting, have experience in pneumatic systems and previous fault-finding experience with automated machinery. Strong attention to detail, ability to manage changing priorities and excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates must also be able to perform welding tasks (Tig, Mig, and Stick).
