Foreshore Ranger Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Coastal Operations team as a Foreshore Ranger. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Crown Land Reserves and National Parks under our management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of foreshore areas, caravan parks, and other reserve areas
  • General site maintenance including litter control and cleaning
  • Park and garden maintenance including track and path works, mowing, grass cutting, trimming, and pruning works
  • Weed control, fencing, tree planting, and minor landscaping
  • Minor carpentry, painting, concreting, repairs, and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure
  • Maintenance and operation of plant and machinery
  • Cleaning and presentation for amenities, piers, and boat ramp facilities
  • Assisting with the implementation of small projects and other works on the foreshore and caravan parks
  • Liaising with the community, visitors, and contractors delivering services in parks and reserves under our management
Qualifications and Experience
  • Trade, certificate, or diploma relevant to foreshore operations
  • Demonstrated experience in trade, land management, facilities, and grounds maintenance or other relevant work
  • First Aid Certificate
  • White Card (Desirable)
