About Our Role:

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors to our medical centre. You will play a vital role in providing a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and at ease.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and welcome them into the Centre with a smile and a friendly demeanor.
  • Collect and enter patient details into our database with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Schedule appointments as required, ensuring that patients are seen by their healthcare professionals on time.
  • Answer telephone calls and enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills, responding to patient queries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Be detail-orientated, able to multi-task and prioritise tasks efficiently, managing your workload effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Knowledge of Pracsoft/Medtech is an advantage, but not essential.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-orientated and able to work accurately under pressure, maintaining high standards of work quality and productivity.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is an advantage, but not essential.
