Senior Mobile Equipment Commercial Expert

This global role offers a unique chance to influence strategic sourcing and commercial outcomes across Mobile Equipment portfolio, including Heavy and Light Mobile Equipment, Technology, and Tyres.
You will lead market intelligence efforts, support strategic OEM partnerships, execute high-value contracts, and drive data-led decision-making through advanced spend and pricing analysis, performance reporting, and supply chain forecasting.
As a key member of the Global Mobile Equipment team, you will contribute to the management of Rio Tinto's strategic partnerships with global OEMs, analyse complex supply chain data and pricing structures, develop performance dashboards, and drive innovation and value creation.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of Category Management Cycle, policies, and governance frameworks
- Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal
- Proven commercial acumen with strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
