Workforce Strategy Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Workforce Strategy Consultant to lead the implementation of our Strategic Workforce Plan and drive innovative HR projects across the agency.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking professional to shape the future of workforce strategy and workforce management.

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic workforce objectives and transformative HR initiatives across a range of work environments
  • Provide valued advice to executive and senior management to guide workforce planning activities
  • Monitor the internal and external environment to identify risks and opportunities, inform future strategy development, and identify contemporary workforce initiatives
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  1. Develop strong and collaborative partnerships through internal consultation and collaboration to drive continuous improvement for HR and workforce matters impacting our leaders
  2. Support the implementation of contemporary workforce planning strategies across a variety of work environments that deliver real benefits and meet identified needs
  3. Prepare high-level reports, audits, briefings, policy papers, and submissions, facilitate meetings, and deliver presentations
  4. Build team capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance development. Address underperformance when presented
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, HR strategy, and project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions
