About this role
  • We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join our Logistics team as a supervisor of daily operations in our warehouse.

This challenging role takes sole charge of daily warehouse activities, including supervision of 4 forklift operators. Some responsibilities include:

  • Managing the movement and storage of products within the warehouse
  • Scheduling tasks and coordinating resources to meet production demands
  • Maintaining safety standards and enforcing compliance with regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in fast-paced environments. A degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Supervision: Take charge of day-to-day operations in the warehouse, overseeing the work of forklift operators and ensuring smooth logistics processes.
  2. Tactical Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
  3. Resource Allocation: Schedule tasks, coordinate personnel, and allocate resources effectively to meet production needs and deadlines.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  5. Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative culture by engaging with cross-functional teams, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure shared goals are met.
