Description
This role is responsible for developing and implementing product and spare parts forecast schedules to meet customer needs. It manages stock and logistics activities across the Australian and New Zealand businesses, including effective management of the repair centre in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Review project requirements, ensure accurate forecasting, and manage potential stock issues.
- Repair Management: Utilize staff efficiently, minimize costs, and track inventory used in task completion.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor repair centre activity, ensure order fulfillment, minimize sourcing costs, and reduce offshore repairs.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate input from stakeholders, ensure stock meets project demands, and advise on necessary adjustments.
- Project Review: Review activities against project plan, prepare post-project reviews, and provide recommendations.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to policies, investigate incidents, assess hazards, and manage them accordingly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of supply chain and warehousing principles.
- Solid team leadership competency with demonstrable experience in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of attention to detail and proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong quality and customer orientation with self-motivation and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with JDE or similar ERP system is preferred.
