Corporate Finance Valuations Manager

The BDO Corporate Finance team is experiencing significant growth and is looking to expand by adding a Valuations Manager. This role offers the chance to engage in a diverse array of valuation projects while also participating in various corporate finance assignments. Your New Opportunity
Focusing on the mid-market sector, our team delivers a comprehensive suite of Corporate Finance services across multiple industries. In this role, you will:
- Engage directly with senior management of client organizations
- Conduct various types of valuations, including:
- Business valuations
- Equity valuations
- Purchase price allocations
- Derivatives valuations (including share-based payments)
- Infrastructure valuations
- Independent Expert Reports
- Collaboratively lead the team to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Participate actively in business development and nurture long-term client relationships
- Oversee and manage strategic tasks within the division.
Reporting directly to Partners, you will collaborate with various staff across Corporate Finance services and other service lines, including audit, tax, and advisory.
What You'll Bring to the Role
We are looking for candidates with experience in Valuation Services within an accounting and advisory firm, emphasizing client advisory, team management, and engagement oversight.
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced valuation and research capabilities, demonstrated by a minimum of four years in a dedicated valuations role
- Strong report writing skills
- A degree with an exceptional academic record from a leading university or business school in fields such as Accounting, Management, Commerce, Business, or Finance
