About Our Imaging Team

We're a leading provider of high-quality patient care, with a team of experienced radiologists and registrars working together to deliver exceptional results.

Our state-of-the-art imaging equipment includes multi-slice CT, MRI, and high-resolution ultrasound machines. We perform a wide range of interventional procedures, particularly in hepatobiliary and oncology intervention.

We offer a supportive work environment, with opportunities for teaching and research participation. Our main department is located on Levels 1 and 2 of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Oncology

  • We require our team members to participate in clinical audit and research. They will also be involved in the teaching of registrars, resident staff, and medical students.
  • Fellows will be rostered to various modalities, including our outpatient facility at the Repatriation Hospital. There is an on-call and after-hours requirement.

Cardiothoracic

  • The Cardiothoracic Radiology Fellowship will involve diagnostic imaging with some interventional experience as part of clinical service.
  • You will become experienced and competent in the interpretation and assessment of CT coronary angiography, CT TAVI planning, adult cardiac MRI, high-resolution CT of the chest, and vascular assessment.
  • We have active Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Units, and Interventional Cardiologists with a large number of patients presenting for evaluation, work-up, and monitoring of cardiac and respiratory disease.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Medical Registration in Australia
  • Passed the Part II exam of the RANZCR or equivalent
  • A commitment to teamwork, quality, excellence, and best practice in healthcare service delivery
