Wastewater Treatment Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to operate and maintain our wastewater treatment systems.

  • Operating and monitoring treatment systems, including Balance Tank, Intermediate Tank Fenton Reaction, DAF system, and sludge handling.
  • Monitoring and adjusting water quality parameters, such as pH, ORP, TDS, TSS, BOD, chlorine, and chloroform.
  • Handling and dosing chemicals safely and effectively, including sodium metabisulfite, ferrous sulfate, hydrogen peroxide, and sulfuric acid.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting pumps, mixers, aerators, compressors, and DAF components.
  • Managing sludge collection, recycling, and disposal to minimize environmental impact and costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, DAF systems, and Fenton reaction principles.
  • Proven hands-on experience (ideally 10+ years) operating wastewater treatment plants.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and process optimisation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and external water management service providers.
  • Relevant training/accreditation in hazardous chemical handling and workplace safety.
  • Forklift licence (advantageous).
